Originally designed for the Vertical Kilometer (VK) , the MERRELL MTL Long Sky 2 Matryx trail shoe has been improved to gain resistance and durability while retaining the characteristics that have made this shoe successful: lightness, great flexibility and dynamism.

The upper features a single layer of Kevlar-reinforced Matryx® woven fabric that maximizes breathability and durability while significantly reducing stretch. The inner lining is treated to wick away moisture, while the midsole incorporates FloatPro™ foam for long-lasting comfort. The lower part of the shoe is fitted with a Vibram Megagrip outsole featuring 5mm lugs for maximum traction .
