All the skis make some efforts to reduce impact, notably recycled edges, biosourced topsheets, and a few pairs made from biosourced resins. It's still timid but shows a desire to move forward in the future. We can note an effort to eliminate plastic ski packaging, replaced by a reusable cotton ski cover.

ZAG is making some efforts to be transparent about its manufacturing chain and its materials, but again, this is still timid. On the other hand, the majority of products are manufactured in Europe and no plane is used to transport the products (except US delivery)

The Chamonix brand maintains good foundations of commitment, initiated a few years ago on the eco-design of products and now followed by a detailed and transparent carbon footprint. Still lacking a little commitment to the social aspect within the teams (diversity, equality and well-being) as well as a more concrete commitment to associations.

Zag was born, a high-end ski brand specializing in touring, free-ride and all-mountain skis.
