More than 70% of the materials used to manufacture the products come from recycling. 100% of their feathers and wool are certified as respecting animal welfare. 100% of their cottons are organic and finally 88% of their materials are Bluesign certified, meaning they are free of risky chemical substances. In addition, repair, second-hand and extended warranty solutions are offered to customers. There is still room for improvement in PFAS water-repellent substances which have not yet been 100% eliminated. Microfiber pollution and plastic packaging are still too present.

A historic member of the FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION, the brand maintains its leading status year after year by carrying out social audits of the factories where the products are manufactured. Haglofs is engaged in a process of continuous improvement to advance its production partners. It can be noted that more than 20% of production is still transported by plane and that it is still difficult for the brand to produce mainly in Europe. But these figures increase every year.
