⚠️ Bivouac Rules in the Vercors: To Be Respected or Else... Game Over
Bivouacking is great, but it requires planning. Here are the golden rules to avoid trouble (and fines):
- Bivouacking is permitted for one night only, from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m., and more than 1 hour's walk from parking lots and dwellings.
- Forbidden in the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park: Certain areas are protected. Be sure to check the signs and the map of authorized areas before pitching your tent.
- No fires: Campfires are strictly forbidden (except in designated areas).
