Ultralight, compact and offering optimal wind resistance, the RAB Borealis softshell jacket is a perfect extra layer for your clear but windy weather outings.
Initially designed for long climbing routes where the weather can be changeable, the Borealis jacket is made from a lightweight and stretchy Matrix fabric, which offers total freedom of movement. Extremely breathable, this fabric has a water-repellent treatment protecting you from light rain showers and dries quickly. In addition, it provides a high level of UV protection (UPF 50+).
And when the wind starts to blow hard, the hood, the full-length front zipper with chin guard, and the waist drawstring keep you well protected.
Finally, the jacket has two vertical "Napoleon" mesh pockets with zippers at the chest, allowing you to keep essentials close at hand.
