The VAUDE Free Cargo bag offers a generous 24-litre capacity , providing plenty of room for carrying your belongings both in the urban jungle and for micro-adventures in the surrounding area on the weekend.
The wide-mouth bag adjusts flexibly to the load thanks to the roll-top closure . A hanging compartment in the bag allows documents, pens, etc. to be stored neatly. A package that would not fit in the bag can be hung behind the flexible flap on the front using 2 compression straps, just like a tent, wet clothes or bulky equipment accessories like a packcraft or a SUP.
Particularly tall objects can be secured using an additional strap extension . The flat pocket with waterproof zip on the flap allows quick access to a wallet or smartphone .
Plastic parts from scrapped vehicles, such as bumpers, have been repurposed to create the bag's ultra-robust hard-shell back, which can support a maximum load of 12.5 kg.
The mounting system allows the bag to be mounted or removed in one movement and is adjusted using easy-to-use dials. The proven, lockable QMR 2.0 hooks are suitable for round rack tubes up to 16 mm in diameter, with the Rail Hook securing the bag at the bottom on rougher terrain.
