Its X-Core™ insulating foam provides good support so that you have a restful night for the next day's adventures. This foam uses X-core technology which is a lightweight 3-dimensional structure . This saves weight and reduces pack size, but also traps air to increase warmth and contributes to the mattress's R-value (3.6) , while the rectangular shape allows for sleeping in many positions.

The discreet two-way valve allows you to quickly inflate the mattress when the weather is threatening, and easily deflate it when you're ready to roll it up in its storage cover. Made from recycled polyester with a fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish , the exterior fabric of the Exosphere 3.5 is both durable and pleasant to the touch.
