1. Great hikes in Lauterbrunnen
Level 1: "I want a stroll, not a marathon"
Route: Lauterbrunnen → Staubbach → Trümmelbach
⏱ Duration: 2h - 📈 Elevation gain: 300m
You'll see the Staubbach and Trümmelbach waterfalls cascading down the cliffs like in Game of Thrones (except no dragons here). Accessible via a funicular, these are the most photogenic activities.
Level 2: "I want to sweat a little, but not too much"
Route: Mürren → Gimmelwald → Stechelberg
⏱ Duration: 3h - 📈 Elevation gain: 500m
Mürren is a car-free village (a bit like in Heidi). You'll also have a jaw-dropping 360° view of the Swiss Alps, and paragliders landing like superheroes.
Muule's Little Tips:
To embark on an adventure on the Swiss trails, it's best to equip yourself with a good waterproof backpack to carry your belongings. Don't forget a waterproof jacket in case of capricious weather, or lightweight hiking shoes for men or women, to hike easily without getting hurt.
