The DEUTER Freescape Pro 40+ backpack is a model intended for backpackers who need a large volume for their multi-day winter expeditions.

This sustainable, bluesign® certified and PFC-free backpack is made from 100% recycled materials. The well-ventilated and secure fit provides a high level of carrying comfort.

Designed in a robust, breathable and anti-snow material, the Freescape benefits from the Alpine back guaranteeing an optimal balance between comfort, durability, functionality and lightness. The two soft-banded pads embrace the back flexibly with every movement while the overall ergonomics allow the load to always be close to the body's center of gravity.

The Freescape has a large, easily accessible main compartment, allowing quick and easy access to all your gear. This system keeps your back completely dry. Skis, snowboards or crampons can remain attached externally thanks to the variable attachment straps. In addition, the separate safety compartment for the probe and shovel is immediately accessible in case of emergency.
