Statut obtained by DYNAFIT at the Muule barometer
Displaying record lightness for a model at this level of the range, the DYNAFIT Speed ski touring boot – only 1050 grams in 26.5 – will delight demanding skiers on a tight budget.
Inspired by the high-end TLT models from which it takes several characteristics, the Speed is a shoe which, as its name suggests, is designed for speed. Sober and practical, it limits itself to the essentials by combining hold, efficiency and stability as best as possible. Featuring a relatively narrow 99mm width, it wraps your foot with precision and allows excellent control at every turn. All operations on the Speed – adjustments, opening and closing – are done using the Ultra Lock 2.0 single buckle system that is easy and quick to handle.
Technically, the flexible Pebax tongue, combined with a 60° collar travel, offers you increased longitudinal mobility and great freedom of movement during rapid climbs. The Grilamid upper provides high rigidity and stability, for excellent downhill performance. The stem adjusts quickly and easily to 15 or 18 degrees of inclination. The Pomoca rubber mixture of the outsole maintains its properties during temperature variations and demonstrates its grip and grip qualities on all surfaces when wearing your skis. You can therefore move safely and efficiently even in icy conditions.
Adding a specific sole to a ski touring boot is of crucial importance for several reasons.
It improves arch support and weight distribution across the foot, which is essential during long ascents and descents on ski touring.
Next, a well-adapted sole reduces the risk of blisters, discomfort and foot fatigue, allowing the skier to concentrate fully on their technique and their environment.
Additionally, it can help properly align the foot, ankle and knee, reducing the risk of injury. A specific sole provides better thermal insulation, keeping feet warm in cold and wet snow conditions.
In short, it contributes significantly to the overall ski touring experience by improving comfort, performance and safety. SIDAS offers these products, they are available on our site.
