Ultralight, compact and offering optimal wind resistance, the RAB Borealis softshell jacket is the perfect extra layer for your clear but windy getaways.
Originally designed for long climbing routes where the weather can be changeable, the Borealis jacket is made from a lightweight and stretchy Matrix fabric, which offers total freedom of movement. Extremely breathable, this fabric has a water-repellent treatment protecting you against light rain showers and dries quickly. What's more, it provides a high level of UV protection (UPF 50+).
And when the wind starts to blow hard, the hood, full-length front zip with chin guard and the waist drawcord keep you well protected.
Finally, the jacket features two vertical mesh "Napoleon" pockets zipped at chest level allowing you to keep your essentials close at hand.
