Ultralight, compact and offering optimal wind resistance, the RAB Borealis softshell jacket is perfect additional protection for your escapades in clear but windy weather.
Originally designed for long climbing routes where the weather can be changeable, the Borealis jacket is made from a lightweight, stretchy Matrix fabric , which offers complete freedom of movement . Extremely breathable, this fabric has a water-repellent treatment protecting you against light rain showers and dries quickly. In addition, it ensures a high level of UV protection (UPF 50+).
And when the wind starts blowing hard, the hood, full front zipper with chin guard and drawstring waist keep you covered.
Finally, the jacket has two vertical “Napoleon” type mesh pockets zipped at chest level allowing you to keep everything you need within easy reach.
