VEJA products are exemplary in their environmental and social impact. The materials used are recycled polyester, organic cotton, a mixture of jute, recycled cotton and finally leather from certified responsible tanning. For Vegans, 1 in 3 models meet these criteria. Extensive chemical tests are carried out each year on shoes to protect consumers. Finally, an end-of-life shoe collection solution is created in-store to enable their recycling or second-hand sale.

The VEJA shoe production chain is completely transparent and controlled. Since their creation, they have always been manufactured in the same place: the state of Rio Grande do Sul in the south of Brazil under exemplary working conditions. Over time, a real partnership has been established between the brand and the assembly plant. This does not prevent the brand from carrying out social audits in order to verify that the factories respect the requested values and criteria, and to identify the points on which VEJA can still improve.
